Share a Milkshake for Freshly Made Sketch #569

 Hello Happy Stampers!

Sunday has rolled around again and it's time for another Freshly Made Sketch Challenge.  This time I'm using the new  Stampin' Up! Share a Milkshake stamp set and matching dies from the January - April Mini Catalog.  I love the versatility of this stamp set! When I saw the sketch I thought about this stamp set and a soda fountain counter.  I hope that's what you see too!

And here is a close up

I hope you are all having a great weekend.  I have been on crutches for the past week and a half and have been spending a lot of time at my craft table. I'll be back during the week with some more projects I've been working on.

Conversation Bubbles for Freshly Made Sketches #568

 Hello happy stampers!

I looked back at my last blog post and was shocked to see that it was in 2020.  Okay, I know time flies and I have had some life events happen, but seriously?!  Three years!  Well, now it's time get back on the train and start being consistent with my crafting and blogging.  I retired after 40 years at Boeing so I will now have more time to dedicate to my creative outlet.

These cards are for the Freshly Made Sketch challenge #568.  When I saw the sketch my mind went immediately to the Conversation Bubbles stamp set from Stampin' Up!  This is such a fun set and has so many possibilities!

Here is the image of the sketch:

I hope you like my creations using the Conversation Bubbles bundle (stamp set and matching dies).  If you don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator I would love to help you out.

Have a fantastic week!

SNEAK PEEK! May Your Days Be Merry & Bright

Every year I host a Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack as well as a Fall/Winter stamp camp with a fellow demonstrator.  My customers look forward to these events every year, and some travel 3+ hours to attend.  This year with social distancing I won't be able to comfortably do either one.  As I work through the process of trying to give my customers the stamping experience they have come to love AND adhere to our social distancing guidelines, I have started working on some Christmas cards for a class to go option.

These cards need to be relatively easy to prepare and assemble once my customers receive them, with only written instructions.

For this first card, I am using the Wrapped in Christmas stamp set and the Heartwarming Hugs designer series paper featured in the upcoming August-December mini catalog.  These products will be available for purchase starting August 4, 2020.

If you do not currently have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, and plan to place your next order with me, you may request a catalog by sending me an email.

Have a fantastic week!

Rooted in Nature for Freshly Made Sketches FMS444

Hello!
Today I am sharing a card I literally whipped up for the Freshly Made Sketch challenge this week.  This fun sketch was to make a square card.  Now, I don't usually make square cards because, well, the envelope situation.  However, I happen to have some square envelopes on hand so I figured, why not!

I used the Rooted in Nature stamp set, along with the new In Good Taste designer series paper.  This paper pack is full of photographic images and visual textures that work for a variety of projects.

Here is a list of products I used for this card;

In Good Taste DSP - 5 7/8" x 5 7/8"
Early Espresso Card Stock - 3 7/8 x 3 7/8"
Whisper White Card Stock - 3 3/4" x 3 3/4"
Gray Granite Textured Weave Ribbon (retired)

Have a fabulous weekend!

Free as a Bird

Hello all you quarantine crafters!  These darling little birds are NOT following the social distancing rules!  I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying some extra time to work on your hobbies.  Since I have more free time after my day job (my second job at the nature store is on hold) I am getting back to my blog.  It's definitely a work in progress, so thanks for visiting!

I created this card for a sketch over at Just Add Ink.  I adore this stamp set and I'm so happy it is carrying over into the 2020 - 2021 Annual Catalog.  I only wish the DSP was too!

I hope you enjoy this card and layout.  Here is my recipe:

Stamp Set: Free as a Bird
Papers:  Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, Whisper White
Ink: Memento Classic Black, Various Stampin' Blends
Tools:  Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder, Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Embellishments: Peaceful Poppies Sequins, Pearl Basic Jewels

Be sure to check out the Last Chance lists posted here.  Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Have a great week!

Geared Up for Freshly Made Sketch #432

Happy Sunday! I had some free time this morning and thought I would take a peek at the Freshly Made Sketches weekly sketch.  It's a "clean and simple" design this week.  That is sometimes a challenge for me because I always want to add this or that or layers, layers, layers, to my cards.  A clean and simple sketch comes together quickly when you need a card in a hurry.

I had a Garage Gear die cut in my stash box and decided to use that as my starting point.  I used my Stamparatus to stamp the nut image across the card front.  I used Night of Navy as the card base and a layer of Pacific Point for contrast.  I Attached the die cut with some mini dimensionals, stamped the sentiment, done!  Easy Peasy!

Here's my recipe:
Stamp Set: Geared Up Garage & coordinating Garage Gear Thinlets
Papers: Night of Navy, Pacific Point, WW & Silver Foil
Inks: Basic Gray, Pacific Point

Have a great Sunday!

In Color Easter Cards & Paper Pumpkin Offer

I pulled out a previous Paper Pumpkin kit stamp set to makes these adorable bunny face Easter cards.  I am also using two of the In Colors that will be retiring in a few months with the release of the new Annual Catalog.  You'll want to grab these In Color products while they are still available!

Aren't these little faces cute!  I had some bunny ear stickers left over from the kit and used those as well.  The Happy Easter stamp is an oldie but goody from way back.

The deets:
I started with a Sweet Sugarplum card base then added a layer a 4" x 5 1/4" panel of Peekaboo Peach.  I used Basic Gray ink for the bunnies for a softer look than Basic Black.  The sentiment is stamped in Sweet Sugarplum.

I decided to make a shaker card for the second card.  Again, I started with a Sweet Sugarplum card base and stamped the Easter egg image in Sweet Sugarplum ink.  I used one of the left over 3 x 3 cards that came with the Paper Pumpkin kit and cut a window in half of it.  I added some sequins and created the window using Window Sheets and Foam Adhesive Strips.
